私は、SIGNIS Japan というカトリック教会の広報関係者の国際組織の日本の副代表をしています。
SIGNIS World はほぼ毎月 SIGNIS Webnews を発行しています。

私が講師として勤めている清泉女子大学で７月１５日に「難民の日」のシンポジウムが開かれました。それを聞いて、主催した清泉女子大のボランティアセンターにいって、それをぜひ SIGNIS World の WEBNEWS に投稿したいので、英文の原稿を書いてくださいとお願いしました。
そうしたら快くお引き受けいただきました。９月に原稿をいただき写真を添えて10月に投稿しました。
そして今月の SIGNIS Webnews 182に掲載されていました。

Organized by SIPCATV, (Service for Television Producers and Catholic Networks) 19 Catholic TV Networks from 14 Latin American countries participated in the Latin American Catholic TVs Congress.
The Prix Jeunesse International 2016 will take place in Munich, Germany from May 20 to May 25. The festival invites you to submit your entries untill Dec. 11.
Al Jazeera’s ’Afghanistan: No Country for Women’, was named Best Film in the television category at the 2015 Amnesty Australia awards in Sydney.

Catholic radios such as Radio Pacis in Aura and Radio Wa in Lira are among the eleven radios who are involved in the project “Consolidating peace Journalism in Uganda”.

Media Education

「100歳の美しい脳ーアルツハイマー病解明に手をさしのべた修道女たち」を予約しました。

　いま、川崎の生涯教育プラザで行われている「認知症の理解と支援―傾聴ボランティア活動」を受講している。認知症のひとをどう傾聴するのかという実践的な講座でなかなかおもしろい。
　10月から11月の間全部で10回の講座である。
　前回は「認知症にならないために、なったときには　〜予防と治療〜」というテーマで日本医科大学武蔵小杉病院神経内科部長石渡明子先生がお話しをされた。
　そのなかでとても興味あることが紹介された。
　「100歳の美しい脳ーアルツハイマー病解明に手をさしのべた修道女たち」という本である。たとえばアルツハイマー病になって認知症の症状を現さない例が３分の１あるという驚くべきデータが紹介された。
　amazonの本の紹介には以下のように書かれている。
